2017 Halloween Events Around Northern Virginia


It’s almost Halloween and whether you are looking for a haunted house or candy for the kids, Northern Virginia area has plenty of activities for every families. Every year, ​Northern Virginia Halloween events offers an amazing array of trick, treating and terrors for all ages​. Events were hosted by local businesses and towns and ​truly​ a good place to spend the Halloween​.
We gathered few of some amazing Halloween events in Northern Virginia that​ includes good places to Trick or Treat​, Ghost Talks and Walks and haunted houses.
Potomac Mills Mall Trick-or-Treating
October 31, 5:00 -7:00 p.m.
You can hit the racks of 70 participating stores while your little ones goes in search of candy. Location will be at Potomac Mills Mall, 2700 Potomac Mills Circle, Woodbridge.
Trick-or-Treating at Carlyle House
October 31, 5:00 -7:00 p.m
The Carlyle House is welcoming guests this Halloween 2017. This fun 18th century Halloween event for kids will feature superheroes, princesses, ghosts, goblins and trick-or-treating. Definitely all for free! Event will be at Carlyle House: 121 N. Fairfax St., Alexandria.
Great Falls Halloween Spooktacular and Pet Parade
October 31, 5:00 -7:00 p.m
Children are invited to walk through haunted houses at the Great Falls Shopping Center and enjoy a 15-minute pet parade and snack on Halloween treats, popcorn and apple cider. This fun event will be at the Great Falls Shopping Center: 754-C Walker Road, Great Falls.
Halloween Bar Crawl in Clarendon
November 4, 1:00 – 9:00 p.m
On its 3rd Annual Halloween Bar Crawl, the Clarendon event goers should come in costume to gain access to a number of area bars, including the Clarendon Grill, Whitlow’s, Pamplona and Oz. Foods, drinks and souvenir mugs are also featured so don’t miss this one! 
Haunted House at Captains Cove
October 31, 4:30 -7:00 p.m
Old Town Alexandria’s Hotel Indigo is transforming this Halloween into a pirate-themed haunted house. Trick-or-treaters are also welcome and will be luckily offered a pirate-themed goodie bags. This event is for free, but a donation to Act for Alexandria isn’t required but encouraged. Event location will be at Hotel Indigo, 220 S. Union St., Alexandria.
Madhaunter’s Madhouse at Workhouse Arts Center in Lorton 
October 31, 7:00 – 11:00 p.m.
Northern Virginia’s scariest haunted attraction returns to the  Workhouse Arts Center. Madhaunter’s Madhouse is an indoor and outdoor maze of terror that will get you jumping out of your skin at every turn, complete with heart pounding scares and custom made special effects. The madhouse will have a minimal fee of $20.
